I found this video randomly and thought it’d be a great grip to experiment with. Â Can be used with or without gi and the guy sets up a triangle/sweep combo from this grip. Â Off to experiment!

I think when it comes to guard passing, especially when going against people who specialize in the guard, it’s best to have a balance of technique and spontaneity. If that makes any sense.
